Welcome to Emily Rose Dog Training

Emily has over 3 decades of dog ownership and training experience from puppies to rescues with complex behavioural problems.  Leaving behind a successful career in hotel management she decided that a life with dogs and their humans would be far more fulfilling.

She trains disciplines for various sports including Working Trials and IGP whilst competing in obedience.  With a love of “sporty dogs that need a job” whose owners don’t want to compete.  She is qualified as:

• UKCSD – Scent and tracking instructor.

• WSDA – Scent instructor and judge.

• CHW – Canine hoopers world instructor and assessor.

• CSD – Medical alerts.

Emily is also a professional detection handler and an approved trainer for Veterans with Dogs, whilst being fully insured and DBS checked.  All this means Emily can offer a huge range of teaching using motivational rewards to suit all breeds and ages.
